Breastfeeding update: week 2

Here's my update on breastfeeding while on paleo from week 2:
  • I know you need to drink more water on paleo anyway due to high protein intake so that really puts the pressure on to make sure you stay hyrdrated when you're breastfeeding
  • I added Ezekiel bread with sprouted wheat to my meal line up a few mornings a week.  I was paranoid that having no wheat at all would cause me issues.  I will try Mother's Milk tea instead of wheat bread next week.  You don't get the full health benefits of paleo if you have wheat sources regardless how "healthy" they are
  • I also allowed myself a lot of fruit to ensure I am getting carbs
  • Baby seems fine and actually is having more frequent dirty diapers which is great
  • She throws up more and I fear she may have an egg allergy so next week I am skipping eggs to see how she does.  That will be hard to give up as I rely on eggs for breakfast.  But I'll just have to sub in more bacon! ;)
